Endodontic File Forceps, Angled 75 Degrees

The 75 degree endodontic forceps is used to hold endodontic files for root canal procedures. The angled design of this particular model allows for better access in the posterior. The design of the endodontic forceps provides a line of sight advantage, allowing for the use of a microscope. Simply disengage the slide lock to open, grip an endodontic file, and begin hand filing. Endodontic files can be grabbed by the body of the file or by the parachute points. It is ideal to grip the file by the parachute points because it allows the file to be rotated to any angulation. Unlike competitors, this endodontic forceps is made of a flexible grade of steel that transmits vibrations very easily. This material provides a superior tactile response, allowing surgeons to feel what is happening inside root canals. This design also take the file out of your hand, allowing for better access and control in the posterior. Long-term use of a hand file can cause hand fatigue and pain. With this ergonomic design, you never have to worry about pain or discomfort.

Lightweight Material

The type of steel used by Laschal is also very light in weight. This makes handling much easier and more precise. It also allows the needle holder to transmit vibrations very easily, allowing for high tactile feedback. This allows clinicians to feel what is happening at the tip of the instrument, allowing surgeons to make corrections based on feel. Although the instrument is very light, the strength and durability of the instrument is not negatively effected.

Corrosion Resistant

The low carbon content in the steel used by Laschal makes this instrument very resistant to corrosion. The surface of the instrument will remain free of surface imperfections if properly sterilized. This ensures that your instrument stays looking clean and that the mechanical features of this needle holder are not affected by corrosion.

Advantages:

  • Allows perfect line of sight with mirror or microscope
  • Reduces the incidence of joint fatigue when using K-files
  • Quick connect/disconnect
  • Greater ergonomics
  • Ideal for use with a mirror or microscope
  • 270° of bucco-lingual angulation
  • Manufactured from Sonic Steel, which magnifies vibration, producing a tactile feel five to ten times greater than your bare fingertips
  • Manufactured in the USA

About Laschal:

LASCHAL® has been able to design and engineer world-class instruments due to their proprietary SONIC STEEL® material. Unlike traditional stainless or carbon steel instruments that are very rigid and therefore break easily, the LASCHAL® material is light and more flexible, enabling our designs to perform at superior levels. But don’t let the featherweight fool you, these instruments last greater than 10x as long as their traditional stainless steel counterparts being used throughout the industry.

SONIC STEEL® has unique properties. It is lighter than titanium, stronger than stainless steel, and flexible. It allows the development of instruments, and capabilities that are not possible with traditional metals.

– LASCHAL® needle holders resist bending out of shape

– The new locking mechanism for needle holders (THUMLOK®) that never freezes or fails to disengage the needle is a fan favorite

– Liquid Scissors technology. These scissors cut all the way to the point for YEARS, without becoming loose or splayed

– Tissue forceps that secure soft tissue with at least 80% less applied force than all others

– These new instruments produce a tactile feel most surgeons will never experience
