1. Ergonomic Optical Design

   • The optical path is deflected downward by 48°, allowing the user to maintain a more upright head and neck posture, which helps reduce neck and back fatigue.

   • “Free Shoulder & Neck” design to protect spinal health. 

2. Variable / High Magnification

   • Magnification Ratio: 5.0×, with a variable range of ~4.9×–5.6×.

   • This gives excellent detail for precision work.

3. Wide Working Distance

   • Options: 350–400 mm, 400–450 mm, 450–500 mm, and an optional 500–550 mm. 

   • Covers a variety of clinician working postures or preferences.

4. Adjustable Focus & Pupil Distance

   • The focal length for each eye (left/right) can be adjusted independently — useful if there’s a difference in vision between the eyes.

   • Pupil distance (PD) is individually adjustable per side, range 52–76 mm. 

   • Asynchronous PD helps reduce eye fatigue by aligning the optics more naturally.

5. Wide Field of View

   • Depending on the working distance chosen, the field of view varies:

     • 49–57 mm

     • 57–65 mm

     • 65–73 mm

     • 73–81 mm 

   • This gives a broad viewing window, useful for seeing more of the operation area.

6. High-Quality Optics

   • Uses Schott glass (high-quality optical glass) for clarity and good light transmission

   • Multi-layer lens coatings: anti-fog, anti-glare, anti-scratch, helping ensure sharper vision and durability

7. Flip-Up Functionality

   • The loupes have a flip-up hinge, allowing you to quickly move them out of the way for unobstructed vision and eye contact with patients. 

   • The hinge mechanism (either 2 or 3 hinges) can be reset without re-adjusting the optics each time

8. Lightweight & Durable Frame

   • Frame material: aerospace-grade aluminium–magnesium alloy, giving strength but keeping weight low. 

   • Weight: only 94g (with frame and lenses) 

9. Compatible with prescription lenses

   • The frame is designed for easy lens swapping — it has a detachable eyeglass frame so an optometrist can replace lenses if needed.
