VDW Reciproc Minima ConformFit GP
Reciproc Minima ConformFit™ GP master cones are cut to the shape a Reciproc Minima file actually leaves behind. A Minima preparation does not have a constant taper, so a standard, constant-taper gutta-percha cone will not give an accurate fit — it will either fall short at the apex or bind in the middle third. ConformFit™ points are injection moulded to match the variable taper each Reciproc Minima instrument creates, giving a snug apical fit and honest tug-back.
These points come in a single length, with the taper varying by size to match each corresponding Reciproc Minima instrument. Select your preferred size below.
Key Features
- Matched to Reciproc Minima instrument geometry — cut to the shape the corresponding file leaves in the canal
- Variable taper that follows the preparation, rather than assuming a constant angle the file never cut
- Injection moulded, giving a more consistent shape than traditionally rolled gutta-percha
- 60 points per box
- Available in sizes matching the full Reciproc Minima range: RM20, RM25, RM35, RM45, plus an Assorted box
- Made by Dentsply Sirona / VDW
Size Options
| Size | Matches Instrument | Pack Size |

How to Use
- Select the size matching the Reciproc Minima instrument used to complete preparation
- Dry the canal first using the matching Reciproc Minima Absorbent Points, which are cut to the same shape
- Fit the master cone and check for tug-back before obturation
- Seal with a suitable root canal sealer, such as a bioceramic sealer
Who Is Reciproc Minima ConformFit GP For?
These master cones suit clinicians using the Reciproc Minima single-file reciprocating system who want a gutta-percha cone shaped to match the file's actual variable taper, rather than approximating fit with a standard constant-taper cone. This is particularly relevant in narrow and curved canals, where Reciproc Minima's reduced taper is designed to preserve canal anatomy.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is Reciproc Minima ConformFit GP used for?
- It's a gutta-percha master cone for obturating root canals prepared with the Reciproc Minima file system, moulded to match the variable taper the corresponding instrument leaves in the canal.
- Why can't I just use a standard constant-taper gutta-percha cone?
- A Reciproc Minima preparation is not a constant taper, so a standard cone will either fall short at the apex or bind in the middle third. ConformFit points are shaped to match the actual geometry the file creates.
- Does this product come in different lengths?
- No. These points come in a single length, with the taper varying by size to match each corresponding Reciproc Minima instrument.
- What sizes are available?
- Sizes RM20, RM25, RM35 and RM45, matching the full Reciproc Minima instrument range, along with an Assorted box covering mixed sizes.
- How many points come in a box?
- 60 points per box, across all sizes.
- Can I use these with Reciproc or Reciproc blue instead of Minima?
- No. Reciproc and Reciproc blue have their own separately matched gutta-percha and paper points, as their preparation taper differs from Reciproc Minima.
- What should I use to dry the canal before fitting the master cone?
- The matching Reciproc Minima Absorbent Points, which are cut to the same shape as the corresponding preparation.
