The mounting is made of the best quality stainless steel. The stem is smoothly soldered to the mounting to prevent injuries while in use. A silicone patch is inserted between the mounting and the glass to ensure waterproofness, cleanliness, and resistance to impact.
Resistant to repeated sterilizations in an autoclave (134°C) and dry heat (160°C).
Mouth mirrors have a fragile reflecting surface. Therefore, to prolong the life of the mirrors follow the recommendations below:
- avoid any contact with other instruments
- avoid thermodisinfection to preserve the reflecting surface
- do not use brushes, coarse sponges or similar to avoid scratches on the mirror
- do not expose the mirror to temperatures over 180°C
