These mirrors are made of float glass, with a thickness of 3mm. They are front surface, coated with pure Titanium or Chromium using a sputtering vacuum process. No double image and the glass is perfectly flat giving distortionless images. Mirrors are double sided, reversible even for asymmetrical shapes.
Ttanium coating: offers a high definition of the reflected image (close to 80%) incomparable in brightness, sharpness, and clarity. Provides higher reflectivity than rhodium, chrome, or polished metal mirrors.
Chromium coating: presents an economical alternative whilst still offering better reflectance than polished metal mirrors. No ghost photo effect. Reflectivity up to 70%.

Our mirrors are hand-finished, making their edges smoother. Rhodium coated glass mirrors sold on (especially) marketplace websites usually have nothing or very little of Rhodium in their coating, therefore being noticeably darker than any Chromium coated mirrors.

Resistant to repeated sterilizations in an autoclave. However, like with all mirrors, cleaning, sterilization and storage must be done with care in order to preserve and prolong the mirror's efficiency. We recommend SOLO and DUO cassettes for storage and sterilisation of the mirrors.
All mirrors are compatible with our light, aluminium handle which helps to keep fingertips out of the photograph.
